CSA C22.2 NO.113 Clause 5.2.6.1 and 5.2.6.2 Fans and Ventilators uninsulated live part test probe
To reduce the risk of injury to persons due to contact with uninsulated live parts, openings in enclosures, including ventilation openings, shall be designed, located, or baffled to prevent the probe specified in Table 3 from touching such live parts. Compliance shall be determined with doors, covers, and guards shall be removed. The probe shall be applied with a force of 4.45N and in any possible angled to any possible position before, during, or after insertion through the opening.
Note: Film coated wire is considered to be an uninsulated live part.
