CE marking to carpet / CE marking to ceilings – Introduction
In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a mandatory certification mark to indicate that the product complies with the basic requirements of the EU New Method for Technical Coordination and Standardization. This is a mandatory requirement of EU laws on products.
The CE mark on the ceiling can not only prove that its products comply with the safety, environmental protection, health and consumer protection specified in the Construction Products Directive (CPR 305/2011/EU) and its related standards (European harmonized standard EN 14716). In addition, it can reasonably avoid technical barriers to trade, sell freely in the European market and open other international markets.
Note: CPR (Construction Product Regulation) 305/2011/EU fully replaces CPD(Construction Product Directive) 106/89/EEC, And it will be mandatory from July 1, 2013
