Bucket teeth belong to Ground Engaging Tools, which are used on the excavator, loader buckets. Two types of bucket tooth are popular: standard teeth and rock teeth.

Four ways to improve the service life of excavator bucket teeth

1) As we know, the outer bucket teeth of the bucket are 30% faster worn than the inner bucket teeth. So after a period of time, You should switch them back and forth. 

2) Choose different bucket teeth based on your working environment:digging soil, weathered sand, and surface coal -------STD(standard) bucket teeth;digging hard rock ------RC(Rock Chisel ) bucket teeth . 

3) Don't let your buckets smashed on the rock fiercely.. 

4) The wear condition of the tooth adapter is also very important for the service life of the excavator bucket teeth. When bucket teeth wears out 10% - 15%, it is recommended to replace the tooth adapter because of the large gap between the bucket teeth and the adapter, and the force point has changed, and the bucket teeth are easily to be cracked due to changes in the force point.
