Product Features

Electric vehicle high-voltage cables are carriers for connecting high-voltage batteries, inverters, air-conditioning compressors, three-phase generators and motors for power transmission. They are the "nervous system" of electric vehicles and play an important role.

The interior space of the car is small, the internal components are in harsh environments such as high temperature, oil pollution, smoke, etc., and the large current transmission of the high-voltage cable will lead to high energy consumption and continuous heating of the components, which has strict requirements on the high temperature resistance of the cable. Heat resistance is usually proportional to the service life. The better the heat resistance, the higher the temperature the car can withstand, the greater the current carrying capacity, and the safer the car travels. Therefore, the minimum requirement for high temperature resistance of high-voltage cables is generally 125 degrees, and some are even as high as 200 degrees.

The high-voltage cables for road vehicles produced by OMG have a rated voltage of up to DC 1500V. There are two main categories of products, QZJP2-C (Rated temperature: -40℃~+125℃), QZJP2-D (Rated temperature: -40℃~ +150℃), the diameter varies from 10 square to 120 square, and the allowable load current varies from 70A to 370A. The insulation and sheath materials are made of high-performance XLPE, which has superior mechanical and electrical properties, soft hand feel, wear resistance, crack resistance, low temperature resistance up to minus 40 degrees, and high temperature resistance up to 150 degrees.

OMG has passed ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 system certification, and can produce high-voltage cables for electric vehicles of international standards such as ISO6722-1, ISO6722-2, ISO14572, LV216, ISO19642, UL758 (UL3820\UL30088).
