Fiberglass duct rodder
Duct Rodders are composed of fiber glass rod which was extruded by fiber glass and high strength resin at high temperature. This type of rod has high tensile strength and flexibility. It was covered by a high density polyethylene engineering plastic as its protect layer, which make duct rodder cover sliding on surface, durable, corrosion resistant and has good insulation performance, which make them safe for use in cable occupied duct. High Density polyethylene (Grade: for the insulating and jacketing of Telecommunication Cables) is used in the outer diameter coating. Duct Rodders will equipped with different size reel according to the length of rod. There are wheels on the reel, which make it convenient for moving.

Assembly & Function

Threaded Rod End Fitting:
A male rod end fitting is supplied as standard with mini, midi and maxi rods. Replacement threaded rod end fittings allow the connection to other duct rod accessories, such as tapered rod ends, flexible guide ends, roller guides etc

Roller Guides:
The Roller Guide is used to push through conduit with cable already in place. The rollers prevent the rod from wedging in under the cable as they rotate on hardened shoulder bolts. The shank attaches directly to the Swivel Rod End to provide axial rotation

Flexible Guide Heads:
Flexible Guides are used for leading the rod around tight bends. The three larger sizes are Stainless Steel and Aluminum, the smaller sizes are Brass.
