The NEW range of Eaton Slip-in Cartridge Valves off ers signifi cant advantages to industrial market segments that utilise the 

high fl ow and high pressure capability associated with this product type. Specifi cally, this next generation product includes:

 Product range from size 16 - 63 

 Best in class rated fl ow - typically improvements between 15-40% higher 

 A fl at cover design, which is interchangeable with competitive products 

 New additional functions added to the product range

Best in class rated fl ow performance means reduced pressure drops and hence signifi cantly reduced energy consumption. 

The new design utilises a fl at cover design concept and is as such NOT directly interchangeable with the existing Slip-in 

Cartridge Valve range. However, this new fl at cover is backward compatible with competitive products, hence off ering new 

and aftermarket opportunities that were previously not possible.

The new Slip-in Cartridge Valve series follows the same model code concept as the existing valve range, but with a change 

to the design number: CVCS – 20 design and CVI – 50 design.

The new generation of Slip-in Cartridge Valves will standardise on 4 poppet area ratios1:1; 1:1.05; 1:1.5 and 1:2 

The design includes new options for additional functionality including a normally closed reducer insert, zero side wall 

leakage options on all spool sizes 25-63 and an expanded range of functions in sizes 50-63
