The Type TB82TE Advantage Series™ Two-Wire, Two-Electrode Conductivity/Concentration Transmitter is an advanced, microprocessor-based, two-wire, four to 20-milliampere compatible transmitter. It features internal and external diagnostic functionality, an innovative user interface with flexible smart key design, two user-selectable modes of operation, and DIN size packaging. Diagnostic checks on the internal circuitry and external sensor are done continuously. This insures accuracy and immediate problem notification. Detection of sensor integrity includes: sensor polarization, process and temperature variable over or under range, and incorrect calibration values. The transmitter can be programmed to produce, on the output current, a repetitive modulation of a given magnitude when these diagnostic conditions occur. The transmitter packaging conforms to DIN standards. Mounting options accommodate pipe, wall, hinge, and panel installations. Changing the transmitter sensing capability to other analytical properties such as four-electrode conductivity is quick and easy due to the modular design. The user interface is an innovative, patent-pending technology that facilitates a smooth and problem-free link between the user and transmitter functionality. The programming structure and smart keys reduce programming difficulties by providing a toggle between basic and advanced functions.
