Handheld Magnetic particle detector is a small portable non-destructive testing instrument with clear crack display, reliable performance, stable and easy operation. The instrument uses a coil to be wound directly on the probe to generate an induced magnetic field to magnetize the workpiece. The device has small size, light weight, large lifting force and adjustable movable joints. Suitable for flaw detection of flat welds, fillet welds, steel pipes, pressure vessels, pipes, shafts and complex shapes.
The matching probe is made of high-strength insulating material. After inspection, it is connected with epoxy resin to achieve sealed insulation, not easy to damage, and comfortable to operate. The probe has movable joints for users to work on specific workpieces. It is also possible to use a planar yoke, specifically the shape of the magnetized workpiece, to determine which shape of the probe to use.
It is suitable for detecting flaws on the surface of magnetic materials such as steel. In the magnetic particle flaw detection, the object to be tested receives a magnetic force, and the magnetic powder is scattered on the surface. Then, part of the surface of the defect leaks out and the magnetic force leaks the magnetic powder to form an indication pattern. The indication pattern is dozens of times larger than the actual defect, so it is easy to find the defect.
