1、 Overview
Air conveying chute is a kind of pneumatic conveying equipment which is widely used to transport dry powder materials. It is often used to transport cement and raw meal powder in cement industry.
Compared with screw conveyor, belt conveyor and other conveying equipment, it has no rotating parts, easy maintenance, good sealing, no noise, safe and reliable operation, low power consumption, convenient change of conveying direction, and multi-point feeding and unloading.
The air conveying chute is made of several ordinary thin steel plates and connected with other accessories by bolts. The air conveying chute is installed at a certain angle from high to low from the feeding end to the discharging end.
The upper part of the air permeable layer is the material chamber, and the lower part is the air chamber. When the gas with a certain pressure is blown into the air chamber, the material will be fluidized through the air permeable layer. Therefore, the material flows in the tank like a fluid under the action of gravity. The fan is usually used as the air source. The surplus air in the material chamber is pumped away by the dust collector through the air outlet of the air conveying chute.
