Solubility:immediately solube in water and other organic solvent such as isopropanol,acetone,toluene, xylene,and mineral oil.generally speaking,siloxane can soluble in many common organic solvents,but if special solvent is used, solubility and stablility of siloxane should be tested.

Chemical structure:

      TS-189 silane coupling agent has sulfhydryl-base function groups, and is specially effective when used as metal surface rust inhibitor. Processing metal surface such as gold, silver, copper etc. with it can enhance the surface corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and to increase the adhesion with resins and other polymer.

      In the rubber industry, TS-189 is usually used to process white carbon black, carbon black, glass fibers, mica, and other inorganic fillers. TS-189 can effectively improve the mechanical properties and wear-resistance of the rubber.

      In the textile industry, TS-189 can be used in the shrink-proof finishing of the fabric.
