CSM40 is white material which will turns to light yeollow or brown, it has poor fuel resistance and poor compression set resistance, which limits its use for sealing. Compounding with other polymers and ingredients will improve these properties. Various CSM properties and grades, created by modifying the chlorination and chlorosulphonation and type of polyethylene polymer, are available. Additional properties can be modified during compounding.
