Electric skateboard is based on the traditional human skateboard, plus power kit of vehicles. E-skateboard export to the EU is required for CE certification, E-SKATEBOARD CE certification standards for EN 15194:2017. The Old Standard EN 15194:2009 + a 12011 lapsed on 28 February 2019, and the new standard EN 15194:2017 was subsumed into the harmonized standard adopted as the CE-certified Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The new standard specifies that e-bikes should be designed in accordance with the EN 12100 standard, taking into account the associated potential hazards. This change means that the EPAC e-bike will be forced to meet the CE mechanical instruction. EN15194 is composed of three parts: Mechanical Safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrical safety. CE CERTIFICATION STANDARD FOR ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS: En 15194:2017 Mechanical Safety Standard: Test Requirements in accordance with bicycle standards (EN 14764:2005) ; The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard, which aims to ensure the safety of people using hearing aids or artificial pacemaker when driving motorcycles, cars or electric mopeds (from July 2009, all electric mopeds sold in the European Union market will be subject to EMC testing under the new standard en 15194) , it is mainly considered by using EN55014-1, EN 55014-2, EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3, etc. . The main EMC test items are re (30M-1Ghz) and RS (30V/m Field Strength) ; Electrical Safety Standard: refers to the circuit, battery, wire and street, power control requirements. The new EN 15194:2017 standard has the following main changes compared with the old version: 1. Clearly defined the product's functional safety requirements (tamper-proof, prevent unauthorized use, failure of the normal use of the circuit) . 2. The mechanical structure strength of the product is more strict, which is mainly reflected in the strength and durability test of the key components such as frame, fork, handlebar and so on. 3. The product labels, all kinds of electrical symbols (lights, switches, etc.) have a more clear and strict provisions.
