This extruder is wet type extruder:

Its main feature is: it needs to be equipped with a steam boiler, which can continuously providing hot steam into the pre-conditioner. 

Its working principle is:after crushing and mixing process, the raw material will enter into the pre-conditioner first, reach gelatinization and ripening by the continuous hot steam, and then enter into the extruding chamber, formed into pellets of various shapes.

Advantage: The output of the wet type extruder is larger than dry type extruder of same power consumption.
