Rockwell Hardness Tester

Hardness is one of the important indexes of mechanical properties of materials, and hardness test is an important means to judge the quality of metal materials or parts. Other mechanical properties, such as strength, fatigue, creep and wear, can be estimated approximately by measuring hardness of most metallic materials.

Application of Hardness Tester:

For Rockwell hardness tester, we may select the different indenter and test force according to the hardness of the material and thickness of the sample, meanwhile we use the different scales. The most common scales are A, B, C.

A scale: It is suitable for testing the metal more than 70HRC, such as tungsten carbide, hard alloy as well as the hard sheet material and the hardening material on the surface layer.

B scale: It is suitable for testing non-ferrous metals and alloys, annealing steel or soft or medium hardness of materials.

C scale: It is suitable for testing the carbon steel, tool steel and alloy steel.

We accept T/T, L/C, Western Union and some of other payment methods. Usually, we prefer 100%T/T in advance, for special order, 40% of the total amount would be paid when place order, and the rest would be paid before shipment.

How long is the lead time?

7-14 preparation days are needed after receiving prepayment. Shipment period varies according the different destination, usually is 20-50 days. If it is urgent, air shipment or express delivery like TNT and DHL will be recommended.

Usually, the validity period of quotation is 30 days, but still depends on the changes of exchange rate and shipping cost.
