Working Mechanism
Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis ( B.t.i )is one of the most widely used microbial mosquitocides in the world. The mechanism of B.t.i is as follows: the active ingredients (Insecticidal Crystal Proteins, ICP) can release poisonous titanium by decompounding under alkaline condition and enzymolysis of protease in the larval midgut, which would lead to the paralysis of larval and destroy the balance of kalium ions.It has good effect on the larval of Culex, Aedes, Anopheles, Mansonia and Black fly, etc.
• Biologically capture oxygen and promote the growth and reproduction of good anaerobic microorganisms to maintain intestinal ecological balance;
• Antagonize pathogenic microorganisms and improve in vitro-in vivo ecological environment;
• Enhance immune function and promote animal’s disease resistance;
• Promote the development of animal intestines and enhance the activity of digestive enzymes;
• Produce a variety of nutrients such as vitamins, amino acids, organic acids, and promoting growth factor etc
Application method:
To use Mosquito Larvicide Block with BTI, simply remove it from its packaging. Drop it into the body of water to be treated, or the receptacle that would eventually become filled with water. Mosquito Larvicide Block with BTI is safe for use in water with other living organisms such as fish and aquatic plants. Each Mosquito Larvicide Block with BTI treats 100 – 300 Litres of water for up to 30 days. The applied block quantity and application rates can be adjusted to cater to variations in water volume, water and weather conditions. Examples of application sites are: roof gutters, drains, roadside ditches, ornamental ponds, fountains, and other artificial water-holding containers.
Storage and Transportation
