Compared with similar products, ProbeASA circuit board repair tester has the biggest feature that it supports two test methods:
1. Direct test method

2. Image library test method
The ProbeASA circuit board repair tester can learn the ASA curve of a good board and store it on the computer through the operation of building a library. It can be used as a reference standard at any time in the future. The library-building test method of ProbeASA circuit board repair tester also brings two functions that help improve work efficiency:
1) In the process of repairing and testing the faulty circuit board, record which components have been tested and the test curve, so that the test site at that time can be reproduced at any time in the future. This is called a test record.
2)Enter the test points, precautions, fault characteristics and other information worth recording of the user's summary of each circuit board and each component on the circuit board into the respective test navigation, allowing both pictures and texts, and just one button Check it out. 1. Direct test function
General functions of similar products:
Advantages: direct test and control test ASA (curve). Similar to the use of a multimeter. easy to use.

Advantages: Use the computer's image, database, and computing power to support the ASA curve test.
Disadvantages: simple computer operation is required, supporting win10, win8, win7, xp, and currently does not support Apple system computers.
3. Device offline test function (optional. Need to be purchased separately)
Take the device as a unit, learn the curve of a good device and save it in the database, which can be used to directly test the quality of the device in the future. It is a good assistant for screening devices, especially second-hand parts and dismantling parts.
The first category: direct test function
Includes 3 sub-functions:
1.1 Single point single curve test
General functions of similar products:
Only one test point for each test point, or two curves for comparison test. Supports functional testing of three-terminal devices. For example, triodes, thyristors, and 4-terminal devices that can be equivalent to three terminals, such as ordinary optocouplers, relays, transformers, etc.;
1.2 Single point 4 curve test
Improper setting of test parameters affects test results. But proficiency is not a day's work. This is one of the main problems faced by beginners.
The output resistance pair is the parameter that has the greatest influence on the curve. Here one test point uses 0.1K, 1K, 10K, 100K, 4 different output impedances, test or compare test 4 curves. There is always a curve that is best. Users do not need to choose by themselves. See the picture below:

1.3 Test capacitance
This product has unique characteristics for testing capacitors. Especially online testing.
Some products require the user to select the frequency and output resistance for testing capacitance, which is difficult to use; some products require the user to input the capacitance first, and the tester sets the parameters according to the input capacitance value, but the test accuracy is directly related to the capacitance deviation. , Easy to make mistakes.
This product does not require any user settings and is equivalent to a fully automatic capacitance meter.
More meaningfully, it also passes the small signal ASA curve of the capacitor to indicate whether the test is affected by the external circuit. It is of practical value for testing the capacitance on the circuit board.
The following is an online test result of a good capacitor. The curve is a positive ellipse, indicating that the external circuit does not affect the test result, and the measured capacitance value is accurate.
The second category: circuit board image library test
In this function, the device curve of a good board is learned and stored in the computer database, which is called building a library. In this way, once the curve library of a good board is established, you don't always have to have a good board at hand, and it can be used as a reference standard for detecting bad boards at any time; you can also communicate with other peers and share the curve library.
The meaning of the image is that the test can be defined and executed on the displayed circuit board photo, which is intuitive and convenient.
Rough library building process: take a picture of the circuit board with a mobile phone and import it into the computer; draw a rectangle on the device and define the rectangle as the corresponding component; click/double-click the circuit icon to test the device. Rectangles with different colors indicate devices that are learning/not learning, and testing passed/failed.
