Softened water process and description

Sodium ion exchange is used to soften the water, mainly to remove the hardness in the water. The hardness of water is mainly composed of calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When the raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer, the Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the water are exchanged and absorbed by the resin, and at the same time, sodium and Na+ ions are released at
the same material quality. The water flowing out of the water softener is softened water with the hardness ions removed. So as to effectively prevent the scale of the reverse osmosis membrane.
