Glass fiber reinforced bar (FRP/GRP) is a new type of composite material. which is made of glass fiber or other fiber as reinforcing material, pultrusion resin and auxiliary agent as cementing material.
Fibers are slimer in diameter, smaller in size. The strength and modulus of matrix is much lower than fiber, but it can withstand larger strains, often with viscoelasticity and elastoplasticity and is a ducitile meterial.
