The factory hardness of 7MN15CR2AL3V2WMO non-magnetic steel is divided into annealing state and pre-hardening state.
The hardness is 28-30HRC in annealed state and 40-45HRC in pre-hardened state.
The surface treatment hardness of 7MN15 is 950-1100 hV. Compared with high manganese austenitic steel, the service life of this steel is about 3 times longer than high manganese austenitic steel.
Suitable for non-magnetic cold working die and hot working die under high temperature environment. Cold working hardening of high manganese steel makes cutting more difficult. High temperature annealing process can change the size, shape and distribution of carbide particles. Thus, the cutting performance of steel is greatly improved. Using gas soft oxidation process, the surface hardness of steel is further improved, the wear resistance is improved, and the service life of parts is significantly prolonged. The steel is suitable for manufacturing non-magnetic molds, non-magnetic bearings and other structural parts that do not require magnetic induction in strong magnetic fields. In addition, due to the good high temperature strength and hardness of the steel, it can also be used to make thermal molds below 700℃ to 800℃.
