Lime kiln(active lime kiln) is used for roasting the active lime which is used in steel works and ferroalloy works, and calcined dolomite.

Main Structure

1) rotary kiln head part

The kiln head is the discharging part of the rotary kiln, whose diameter is larger than that of the rotary kiln.

2) rotary kiln body part

It is the main body of rotary kiln, usually 30~150 meters long, cylindrical, with 3~5 rolls in the middle.The tube body is processed into 3~10 sections by the factory and welded after being transported to the destination by large trucks.Among them, the rolling ring part is also commonly known as (tire ring) cast by molten steel, the rolling ring part of the kiln body due to bearing is slightly thicker than other parts of the kiln body steel plate.The supporting tug, which is also a part of the kiln body and the rolling ring corresponding to the foundation, is the bearing pillar of the whole rotary kiln.Usually a set of idlers, consisting of two idlers and two baffle wheels.The rotary kiln should be lined with firebrick during normal operation.

3) rotary kiln tail part

The kiln tail part is also an important part of the rotary kiln. The shape of the feeding end is similar to the cover of a rotary kiln, which is mainly responsible for feeding and sealing.

In contrast to a preheater, a cooler is a device for rapidly cooling the materials in a rotary kiln after they are fired. It looks like a small rotary kiln, but the diameter is smaller and shorter. It does not need to be laid with firebrick.The main effect is to quickly cool the finished product.
