Diesel wood pellet mill is popular among household or small scale solid pellet fuel production. Powered by diesel engine, it’s a great alternative for electricity lacking areas in pellet fuel production. The compact structure makes it portable for pressing wood pellets at home, on the farm, in the yard or forest or any other open air places. This diesel wood pellet mill can process pellet fuel from a variety of raw material including wood chips and sawdust, straw, sunflower husk, biomass, stalk, etc. without adding any additive.
GEMCO diesel engine small pellet mill have two type: R-type and D-type. R-type small wood pellet mill has a stationary die with a rotating roller shaft so that the rollers spin to force the feedstock through the holes of the die. D-type small scale pellet mill has a stationary roller and a rotating die. R-type small wood pellet mill output is larger than D-type, which is more suitable for processing hardwood.

The roller and die (also called plate or disk) of small scale pellet mill adopts high wear-resisting alloy steel and treated by special heat treatment to have high hardness and long lifespan. (It is recommended to replace both the roller and die of small wood pellet mill at the same time if the original ones wear.)
Biomass pellets are made from various raw materials like saw dust, wood shaving, wood chips, alfalfa, straw, peanut shell, bagasse, bamboo, grass, rice husk, waste paper, etc.When the raw material biomass is fed into the small scale pellt mill, it goes down between the small wood pellet mill roller and die. By the pressing of rotating roller or rotating die, raw material biomass is extruded though the round die holes, and tight pellets are produced with high density, uniform length and smooth surface through small scale pellet mill.
