AM706 can measure and display wind speed relative to the ship (accuracy ±5%, minimum 0.1m/s)
and wind direction relative to the bow (digital display accuracy 1°, analog display accuracy 10°, output accuracy ±1°).
When the instrument is connected to the compass and log data or GPS data, you can choose to display the absolute wind speed and direction.
The main unit AM706E can be embedded-mounted, and can also be mounted on the desktop or suspended using a bracket.
The sensing component (AM707S) should be installed on the ship where wind energy can pass freely.

System composition
Host part
Wind direction display: It is displayed with a double-ring light-emitting diode whose bow is zero degrees.
Each ring contains 36 light-emitting diodes, which respectively display the real-time wind direction and the range of wind direction changes.
Wind speed display: display wind speed, heading, absolute wind speed and maximum wind speed with two rows of three-digit digital tubes.
Sensor parts
Wind speed sensor: It consists of three bowl-shaped wind cups with a balanced distribution of 120 degrees and a photoelectric speed sensor close to the axis.
Wind direction sensor: It is composed of a wind vane with tail and counterweight, and an absolute angle sensor close to the axis.
Mounting bracket: Used to install the wind direction and wind speed sensor, and fix the junction box.
Junction box: It is composed of a waterproof box and a sensor transmitter.
