The Indoor distribution cable is designed for horizonal cabling. there are 2~48core 0.6mm~0.9mm tight buffered fiber or loose buffered fiber in the jacket tube, the strength member is usually kevlar for high tensile strength, the cable jacket are usually made of PVC and LSZH material.
The fiber type for indoor distribution cable could be single mode G.652D, G.657A1, G.657A2, G.657B.3, etc. The multi mode fiber could be MM50/125 OM2. OM3, OM4, and OM5. and mulit mode 62.5/125 OM1.
The cable sheath jacket color is usually yellow for single mode fiber, orange for MM50/125 and MM62.5/125 fiber, and Auqa for OM3 fiber, Violet for OM4 fiber, Lime Green color for OM5 fiber.
Each fiber will be tested with OTDR, only the attenuation qualified cable are allowed to ship.
