Hunan Xuetian Fine Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., a technology-oriented enterprise, jointly founded by Hunan Light Industry & Salt Industry Group (controlling party) and Hunan Light Industry Research Institute (equity participation). It was established in January 2014 with a registered capital of RMB 38.5 million yuan. Its predecessor, Hunan Zhongye Technology Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Light Industry Research Institute, was established in October 1996.

The company is a designated manufacturer of mosquito repellent and preparations, a high-tech enterprise in Hunan Province, and a new material enterprise in Hunan Province and a small giant enterprise in Hunan Province. It obtains both pesticide registration certificate and the production license in deet, insect repellent-baape and mosquito repellent spray liquid.
