The open-gable is a Y-shaped trellis, similar to that used for table-grape production. Canes are tied to wires supported by the cross
arms.
Overview:
The Open Gable trellis system is design for expansive canopies. Initially designed for table grape varieties, recently the Open Gable system has been used successfully in the production of DOV (dried on the vine) raisin production. Our Open Gable system replicates the current versions but by using our patented posts and cross arms we eliminate assembly and maintenance.
