A407 is a Cr26Ni21 pure austenitic stainless steel electrode with alkaline coating. The deposited metal has excellent oxidation resistance under high temperature conditions of 900-1100℃. Adopting DC reverse connection, all positions can be welded. Since the weld is pure austenite, the thermal crack resistance is not as good as the dual phase structure.
For the welding of the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel, stainless steel lining and dissimilar steel, it can also be used for welding Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, Cr13 and Cr28 steels with high hardenability.

 Attention:

1. The electrode must be baked at 250°C for 1 hour before welding, and used as it is baked.
2. Try to use small current and short arc welding when welding.
3. The weldments must be cleaned of rust, oil stains, moisture and other impurities before welding.

4. Try to use small current and short arc when welding, and the swing width should not exceed 2.5 times the diameter.
