A large part of China's railway bridges use simply supported T-shaped beams, and sidewalks are set up on both sides of the bridge deck for railway maintenance personnel to walk. The sidewalk adopts the form of steel bracket, which is composed of angle steel welding or splicing, and is fixed to the ballast retaining wall of the bridge deck by pre-embedded U-shaped bolts or pre-embedded T-shaped steel. Reinforced concrete sidewalk steps are laid on the bracket. The construction process is more complicated, and the later maintenance and repair work is heavy.
