Simple introduction:
The production line is composed of pay-off stand for copper rods, straightener, continuous extruder, Anti-oxidation cooling system, spooling machine, and electrical control unit. The raw material can be the pure copper rod produced by upward continuous casting machine, and also be the copper alloy. If the surface of copper rods is clean, the cleaning system is not necessarily needed. Firstly, the pay-off stand sends the wire or rod to straightener; then the wire or rod is sent to continuous extrusion host machine; after extrusion, the wire or rod becomes strips or other required products. They go through Anti-oxidation cooling system and are rolled by spooling machine, or cut by other equipment.
The production line are used to produce copper flat wire, copper busbar, commutator, contact wires for electric locomotive or other solid copper material. The finished products are widely used for manufacturing transformer, big and middle size motor, high or low electric switch, DC electric commutator and so on.
Copper extruding technology has many outstanding features compared with the traditional drawing technology:
