Borated polyethylene Sheet is a product specially designed for nuclear and radiation shielding applications, its neutron shield properties have been tested and certified. Same as other shielding material, this material can produce gamma rays under the action of neutron. Relative to the shielding neutron and gamma rays are 2 doses. Due to the boron. neutron absorption cross section more than hydrogen and it is Lower cost and light weight than lead which is the best material that replaces lead in nuclear shielding applications. The standard is from 2% to 30% boron by weight according to application and customer requirements.
