Introduction of Deep groove ball bearing:

Deep groove ball bearing mainly take radial load as well as take moderate axial load. With less coefficient of friction, high limiting speed, large size range and varations of structure, they are suitable for precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles,motorcycles,and other common machinery, as a widely used type of bearings in machinery industry.

Sealed deep groove ball bearings
Deep groove ball bearings with sealing disks (contacting gaskets) or covering disks (non-contacting gaskets) allow simple designs. Bearings are offered both with one and two sealing or covering disks. Bearings with two-side gaskets are filled with top quality grease. Sealed bearings can be used in a temperature range from – 30 °C to max. 110 °C (short term) for contacting and up to max. 120 °C for non-contacting gaskets. One should note here, that the period of grease use will reduce at a permanent temperature of > 70 °C. Special greases are offered for such cases.

Deep groove ball bearings with annular groove in outer ring
Deep groove ball bearings with annular groove in the outer ring simplify the design in many cases because they can be fixed simply by a snap ring and axially in the housing to save space. These bearings with or without snap ring are available only on request.

Deep groove ball bearings tested for noise
As standard, deep groove ball bearings are subjected to noise tests up to bore parameter 12. In addition, a 100 % rolling test is carried out. These bearings can also be subjected to a noise test if required by the customer (on request only).

Cages
Deep groove ball bearings without cage suffix are provided with a steel sheet cage. Differing cage designs are indicated at the bearing type as bearing symbol (suffix). Deep groove ball bearings with cages of fiber-glass reinforced polyamide 66 are suitable for temperatures of maximum 120 °C for longer periods of time. When using oil lubrication (for non-sealed bearings), the additives contained in the oil may affect the period of use of the cage if the temperature exceeds 100 °C for a longer period of time. In addition, deep groove ball bearings with brass cage and current-insulated designs are available on request.

Single-row deep groove ball bearings accept radial and axial forces and can thus be used in a wide range of applications. They have a simple design, are self-retaining, suitable for high up to very high speeds and resistant in operation and during maintenance and they are offered at a very favorable price. Due to these characteristics, self-aligning deep groove ball bearings are the anti-friction bearings which are used most. The standard version of SLF deep groove ball bearings is provided with a recess for inserting sealing and/or covering disks. The only exception is series 160... . Here, only a version without sealing and/or covering disk can be supplied. (Exception 16006.2ZR)

•Cage

In daily operations, cage will be subjected not only to mechanical action from friction, tension and inertial force, but to chemical reaction from

lubricants, additives, solvents or coolants. Therefore, design and materials of cage are very inportant for its performance and the reliability of

bearing in usage.

inspection, including analysis of material composition, metallographic analysis, accuracy check, assembly test, etc.

•Materials for Bearing Ring and Roller Body

Bearing ring and roller body are mainly made of high-Cr bearing steel. Listed below are compositions of material for bearing ring and roller body.

Material for bearing ring and roller body mainly consists of high C-Cr bearing steel.

•Material of cages

Material of cages need good wear resistance, stable size and metal strength. Therefore, operation environment should be mainly

considered in selection of material of cages.

Cold-rolled Steel Cage

These light cages hold a high strength with reduced friction and wear in an effective way after surface treatment. The following

Brass Cage

Brass cage is adopted in small and medium bearings. However, brass cage is not suitable for compressors with ammonia cooling

due to potential seasonal cracking of brass. It is recommended to replace it with iron cage.

Nylon cage

According to the type and usage of bearings, nylon cages are widely adopted, but they are inappropriate for environments where

the temperature is above 120℃ or below 40 ℃. Most of cast molding cages adopt nylon PA66 material, with or without glass fiber

reinforcement whose advantage is a good combination of strength and elasticity.

•Materials for Dust Shield and Sealed ring

Material for dust shield

ZYSL Bearings use cold-rolled tin plate as the standard mateiral for dust shields, but also use stainless steel of AISI300 specification sometimes.

Material for seal ring

Seal rings are mainly made for high temperature, fluoro rubbers and silicon rubbers are widely used as well.
