Insulated glass is made of two or more than two sheets of glass with space partitioned by aluminum frame filled with high efficiently hasten drying agent. The edge of insulated glass is sealed by high strength sealing sealants.
Low-E glass, also known as low-emissivity glass, is a film-based product consisting of multiple layers of metal or other compounds on the surface of the glass. The coating layer has high transmission of visible light and high reflection of mid-range infrared rays, and has excellent heat insulation effect and good light transmittance compared with ordinary glass and conventional architectural coated glass.
Features:
1. Energy Saving: For the low heat conductibility of the sealed air between the glass, the insulated glass can reduce heat transfer from inside to outside. Therefore, it can save energy by 30%-50%.
2. Sound Insulation Performance: Single layer glass can reduce noise to 20-22db.Normal insulated glass can reduce noise to 29-31 while special insulated glass to 45db.
3. Anti-dew: Insulated glass is filled enough desiccant which can efficiently absorb vapor in the inner space or penetrated from outside to ensure the gas in inner space is absolutely dry and won’t dew.

There are two types of Low-E glass:
1. Online Low-E glass, offline Low-E glass, and single LOW-E glass. Low-E glass is limited by the scale production of float glass, which is currently only 6mm thick.
2. Off-line Low-E glass is available in a variety of high, medium and low transmittance products according to different climatic characteristics, and the color is silver gray, light gray, light blue and colorless transparent, etc. And many other colors. The thickness can be made from 3 to 12 mm.
