Specification

An insulated glass unit commonly consists of two (sometimes more) panes of glass separated by an aluminum spacer and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with dry air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside to slow the heat exchange and reduce noise levels. The aluminum spacer is filled with silica desiccant pellets to ensure removal of any moisture in the airspace. The IGU is designed to keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Insulating glass is mainly used on buildings that require heating, air conditioning, noise or condensation prevention, and the need for direct sunlight and special light.

It is widely used in residential, hotel, hotel, office buildings, schools, hospitals, shops and other places where indoor air conditioning is required. It can also be used in doors and windows of trains, cars, ships, freezer cabinets, etc.

Different between single silver coated and double silver coated:

1. Any coated glass limits the transmission of visible light to varying degrees while limiting the transmission of solar thermal radiation.
2. Double-silver Low-E glass blocks more solar heat from the radiant heat than single-silver Low-E glass. In other words, in the case of the same light transmittance, the double silver Low-E has a lower shading coefficient Sc, which can filter the sunlight into a cold light source to a greater extent.
3. The double-silver Low-E glass has a lower heat transfer coefficient than the single-silver Low-E, which can further improve the insulation performance of the outer window, and truly achieve warm winter and cool summer. In short, because the double-silver Low-E glass greatly reduces the heat exchange between the indoor and outdoor environment through the glass, when the air conditioner is heating or cooling, the air conditioner can be longer after the indoor temperature reaches the set temperature. Time is in standby, saving power.
