Generate the quality data that you can depend on
Excellent amplification and homogeneity of reaction products
This real-time PCR run was done using 5 ng of hepatitis B virus DNA in each of the 96 block positions. (A) A 135 bp amplicon of the hepatitis B virus gene was amplified using SYBR Green I detection. (B) The reaction product was also subjected to melting curve analysis. In summary, low variation Cq values (Cq range = 0.15and SD = 0.040) and overlapping melt curves of the amplicon (Tmrange of 0.5°C and SD = 0.065) in each of the 96 positions demonstrated temperature homogeneity and equal treatment of all samples - independent of block position.
Dynamic range of gene quantification at low dilutions
A hepatitis B virus gene fragment was amplified in ten serial 1:5 dilutions ranging from 108 to 100 copies per well. Eight replicates were run for each dilution. Results on the TL-988 System show excellent reproducibility and resolution down to very low copy numbers.
