Stair Tread is used in a range of grating platform, ladders, featuring easy installation, strong structure and walkway etc. It could be made of aluminum or steel grating, with many types, featuring easy installation, strong structure and aesthetic appearance and good water permeability. Grating stair treads is usually applied outdoor, sometimes in the room. HY metal grate stair treads includes of steel grating stair treads and aluminum grating stair treads, and can be covered with a checker plate, vertical striped plate nosing, or vertical perforated plate nosing or other patterns. Aluminum stair tread is lighter than steel stair tread, while steel stair tread is stronger than aluminum stair tread.

For surface treatment, aluminum stair treads is usually adopting anodising or coating, while hot-dipped galvanising is generally adopted for steel stair treads.  Steel stair treads is used more in industrial stairs than aluminum stair treads cause steel stair treads is stronger than aluminum stair treads.
