Removes fouling agents from process streams, thereby maintaining a high level of scrubbing efficiency and avoiding costly down time.
Removes hydrocarbon and degradation products from recirculating streams.
Removes agents that cause foaming, resulting in reduced amine and glycol make-up.
Reduces need for anti-foaming agents.
Permits a reduction of process recirculation rate and/or lower concentration required, thereby reducing reboiler fuel consumption.
Overall reduction of contaminants; reduces build-up in process equipment.
