AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor) referred to have
higher strength but lower conductivity than pure
aluminum.being lighter, alloy conductors can
sometimes be used to advantage in place of the more
conventional ACSR;having lower breaking loads than
the latter, their use becomes particularly favourable
ACSR ( Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced )
Advantages:
Simple structure, convenient maintenance, circuit with low cost, transmission capacity, and across the river valley and the special geographic conditions as the installation, good conductive properties and enough mechanical strength, tensile strength, tower can be amplified pole distance etc. It is widely applied to various overhead transmission lines of voltage level.
