1. Applicaton of service drop aerial bundle overhead Aluminium conductor abc cable
Aerial bundle overhead abc cable is used in overhead distribution circuits operating at primary or secondary voltages.Covered Line Wire is not an electrically insulated conductor and is treated as a bare conductor when installed. The insulation provides protection against circuit interruption due to weather.
2. Features of aerial bundle overhead Aluminium conductor abc cable
-The covering provides mechanical protection to the conductor and is resistant to weathering and chemicals.
-If the conductors accidentally come into contact due to high winds, falling tree limbs or other disturbances,
the covering resists short circuits and the tendency for conductors to weld together.
3. Construction of aerial bundle overhead Aluminium conductor abc cable
-Conductor can be compressed or concentric strand or solid.
-Conductor can be strand of ACSR, AAC or AAAC or copper upon request.
