The large tie bar transverse ripple compensator (pipe expansion joint, metal ripple expander) can compensate the transverse displacement and angular displacement of the curved pipe section.
Purpose: The large drawbar corrugated compensator has many advantages, such as large amount of compensation, turbidity of steel, no pressure thrust of medium, no leakage, low cost, etc. It has been widely used in recent years. The structure and working principle of the big tie bar: the big tie bar ripple compensator (also called double tie bar) is a flexible component composed of two bellows, end tube, short plate and tie bar, which can absorb the transverse displacement of single plane or multiple planes of the pipe through the angular deflection of the bellows. The distance between the bolts on both ends of the pull rod has been adjusted before leaving the factory. The big pull rod in front of the installation is loose. After the working deformation of the compensator, the big pull rod can play the role of limiting the deformation and protecting the bellows.
Features and advantages of large tie rod: large compensation amount, no internal pressure thrust, small thrust to support, no leakage, correct cold tightening, low cost advantages.
Application range of large tie rod: the large tie rod ripple compensator is suitable for steam, hot water and all kinds of non-corrosive media. Usually the diameter of the selected pipe ranges from 50 to 2500mm. Most suitable for overhead pipelines because of their transverse deformation characteristics, must be installed in the Pipe in the L and Z parts. There are usually two ways to install it horizontally or vertically. The advantages of horizontal installation do not affect the hydrophobic artesian flow. Vertical installation usually does not increase the floor space because it takes up space parallel to the pipe plane. The disadvantage is that a trap must be installed before the pipe is turned over. Increase pipe drainage by waterproofing hammer.
