HBDC good performance multiple discs pneumatic friction clutch

HBDC pneumatic clutch is based on BDC air shaft clutch, so outside of HBDC is nearly the same as BDC clutch. The only difference is its flange plate higher than BDC clutch, it is convenient for installation. Fixing this flange plate on the worktable via four screw nuts is enough.

HBDC pneumatic clutch is a special pneumatic shaft friction clutch. Its friction plate is not non-asbestos material, HBDC clutch's friction plate are made of group steel plates and copper-based plates, it is strong and durable. The HBDC-50 and HBDC-100 can transmit high torque from 500N.m to 1000N.m.

As usually, the friction type clutch is not suitable used for oil environment. While HBDC, BDC and BDCV multiple friction plates clutch can be used in pump, dividing box, oil mist separator and other moist humid environment. Why? Because this clutch using special steel and copper-base friction plates, they will not slippage and dust in humid situation.

This HBDC multi-disc air clutch is so special and outstanding, how it is working? 

After supplying air pressure, piston pushes driving plate to slide along the direction of the axis, group steel discs compressed group copper-based friction plates to come into an integrated structure, clutch linked. Group steel discs and group copper-based friction plates are separated by separate springs after exhausting air pressure, clutch released.

From above two tables, we can see that this HBDC pneumatic clutch is also an air shaft clutch, its bore diameter is 35mm and 50mm in separately. Although its dimension is small, it can delivery high torque durable usage. 

This HBDC air clutch is friction type clutch, so it is suitable for high speed connecting and rotating. Its max linking speed is 2500r/min, fastest rotating speed can be reached to 2500r/min. 

HBDC model air multiple friction plates clutch is normal releasing. After supplying air pressure, piston pushes driving disc moving forward to and compressing group copper-based friction plates and steel disc to hollow shaft tube external splines with axial movement, to come into an integrated structure, clutch linked. Integrated structure is easy for mounting. It can transmit high torque in compact size, it is suitable for high-speed engagement and rotating. Many famous brand engineering vehicles have used it.
