Baishun Xin Fan Classification:

Axial fan

The blade of an axial fan drives air to flow in the same direction as the axis. The impeller and impeller of an axial fan

The propeller is somewhat similar. When it works, most of the airflow is parallel to the axis, in other words, along the axis. Axial fan has the lowest power consumption when the inlet air flow is 0 static pressure free air, and the power consumption will increase with the increase of the back pressure of the air flow when it is running. Axial fan is usually installed in the cabinet of electrical equipment, and sometimes integrated in the motor. Because of its compact structure, it can save a lot of space and is easy to install, so it has been widely used.

Centrifugal fan

When the centrifugal fan is working, the blade drives the air to flow in the direction (i.e. radial) perpendicular to the axis.

The air intake is along the axis, while the air outlet is perpendicular to the axis. In most cases, the cooling effect can be achieved by using an axial-flow fan. However, sometimes centrifugal fans must be selected if the air flow needs to rotate 90 degrees to discharge or a larger pressure is required. Strictly speaking, fan also belongs to centrifugal fan.

Its characteristics: limited flow rate, high wind pressure

Mixed flow fan

Mixed flow fan is also called diagonal flow fan. At first glance, mixed flow fan and axial flow fan have nothing to do with it.

Similarly, in fact, the mixed-flow fan's intake air is along the axis, but the outlet air is along the diagonal direction of the axis and vertical axis. Because of the conical shape of the blade and cover, the fan has a higher pressure. Compared with the axial fan, the noise of the centrifugal fan is lower under the same size and other comparable performance.

The inlet and outlet of the fan are perpendicular to the axis (as shown in the right picture). The tubular fan works with a relatively long barrel impeller. The diameter of the barrel fan blade is relatively large. Because of the large diameter, the lower speed can be used on the basis of guaranteeing the overall air circulation, thus reducing the noise caused by high-speed operation.

Ball bearing
