FMVSS 571.302 Automobile interior material combustion tester

Introduction:

1. The auto interior material combustion tester is conformance to FMVSS 571.302 and GB8410 to simulate the safety test of combustion performance.

2. The auto interior materials combustion tester use specific bunsen lamp and gas source (liquefied petroleum gas or coal gas), keep burning on the leveled auto interior materials in certain height and angle, according to the ignition time, burning time and burning length to determine whether it is flammability and have danger on fire.

3. The auto interior materials combustion tester mainly for using to evaluate and determine whether the auto interior materials is flammability. It can be used for testing, researching, qualifying different auto interior materials and parts. It can also be used for insulating materials, engineering plastic and other solid combustible materials

Parameters:

1. Burner: Diameter of 9.5mm ± 0.3mm, length about 100mm, Bunsen lamp.

2. Test angle: Put the Bunsen lamp 90 degree vertical to the leveled sample.

3. Burn height: 20mm ± 2mm to 100mm±2mm (adjustable, usual set as 38mm)

4. Burn gas: liquefied petroleum gas or coal gas

5. Temperature range:  0~200C (Display the chamber temperature when testing)

6. Chamber dimension: 385mm×204mm×360mm (about 0.03m³) 

7. Tester dimension: 550mm×210mm×550mm
