Summary:
XNR-400B Melt Flow Indexer (volume method) can be used to can be used in polyethylene, polyethylene

volume flow rate (MVR) to determine, widely used in plastic production, plastic products, such as petroleum
and chemical industry and related colleges and universities, scientific research units and administration
for commodity inspection, etc
Mainly application:
- l It is used to determine the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and the melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastics materials .It adopts auto sampling method and the cut samples are weighed up by balance when it is used to determine MFR .
- l When it is used to determine MVR ,it measures the time which the piston is used to move the specified distance first through the displacement transducer and auto timer system and calculates MVR according to the formula later.
- l The final results of the two methods are all displayed on the machine’s LCD screen and printed and exported by computer .The instrument has high accuracy on data measurement with simple operation and stable capability.
Test standards:
- l GB/T3682-2000: Measurement of mass flow rate (MFR) and melt volume flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic melt under specified temperature and loading conditions.
- l ISO1133-97: Macromolecular material - mass and volume flow rate detection.
- l ASTM1238: The test method covers the flow rate measurement method of melt resin extrusion. It is measured regularly by a specified length and diameter die at precise temperatures, loads, and the position of the barrel in the barrel.

Double temperature control system, adopt double inlet heating ring, double inlet PT100 platinum resistance sensor, improve test accuracy and temperature stability.
With the addition of displacement sensor, MVR (volume method) can be tested with the accuracy of 0.01mm.
The volumetric method can directly output test results without cutting
The density of a material at a given temperature can be calculated by the ratio of the volume method to the mass method
Can be connected to the computer via USB, and can set test conditions on the computer through software, print data, and store data (optional).
