Atos gear pump principle:

Since the liquid is incompressible, the liquid and the tooth cannot occupy the same space at the same time, so the liquid is excluded. Because of the continuous engagement of the teeth, this phenomenon is continuous in the occurrence, thus also in the pump outlet to provide a continuous discharge, pump every turn, the discharge is the same. With the continuous rotation of the drive shaft, the pump also continuously discharged fluid. The flow of the pump is directly related to the speed of the pump. In fact, there is a very small amount of fluid loss in the pump, which makes the operating efficiency of the pump can not reach 100%, because these fluids are used to lubricate the bearing and gear on both sides, and the pump body is never without clearance, so can not make the fluid 100% from the outlet, so a small amount of fluid loss is inevitable. However, the pump still works well and can achieve an efficiency of 93-98% for most extruded materials. For fluids whose viscosity or density varies during the process, the pump is not affected much. If there is a damper, such as a screen or a restrictor on the outlet side, the pump pushes the fluid through them. If the damper changes in operation, that is, if the filter gets dirty, becomes clogged, or the back pressure of the limiter increases, the pump will remain at a constant flow rate until the mechanical limit of the weak zui component of the device is reached (usually with a torque limiter).
We should pay attention to the following matters when using Italian ATOS gear pump pfg-327-d/RO:
(l) the installation between the pump shaft and the prime mover output shaft adopts the elastic coupling, whose coaxial deviation shall be less than 0.1mm, and the coaxial deviation of the shaft sleeve coupling shall be less than 0.05mm.
(2) the transmission device shall ensure that the force on the drive shaft of the pump is within the allowable range.
(3) the oil absorption height of the pump shall not be greater than 0.5m.
(4) screen filter is usually installed at the oil suction port of the pump, and the filter precision should be less than 40μ M. The precision of the filter set on the system oil return circuit is less than or equal to 20μ M.
(5) the working oil should be selected strictly according to the regulations, and the working temperature range is – 20 ~ 80 ℃.
(6) the rotation direction of the pump cannot be wrong, that is, the position of the oil inlet and outlet of the pump cannot be wrong. Disassembly and assembly of the pump must be carried out in strict accordance with the factory operating instructions.
(7) tighten the screw of the pipe joint of the inlet and outlet of the pump, and the sealing device should be reliable, so as not to cause suction and oil leakage, which will affect the working performance of the pump; Pump starting with load and stopping with load should be avoided.
(8) before starting, it is necessary to check whether the overflow valve (relief valve) in the system is at the regulated allowable pressure.
(9) for the new pump or hydraulic pump after maintenance, before the work should be carried out empty load operation and short period of overload operation. Then check the working condition of the pump, no leakage, impact sound, excessive heat and noise.
(l0) if the pump is not used for a long time, the pump should be separated from the prime mover. When reusing, do not immediately use zui large load, should not be less than lO min empty load operation.
