Fillet hardened crankshaft - smaller bolt circles and rolled threads for increased strength and durability Cummins Prelub system - distributes the oil in the engine and builds up the oil pressure before the crank turns, which has been shown to significantly extend service life. Channel cooling piston - reduces piston top temperature by up to 100°F (38°C) for increased durability, reduced piston ring wear and extended cylinder life by 30%.

Turbochargers - customized for k-series engines, single or double stage configurations are available to meet the requirements of any application.
