Ceramic wire guides/Eyelets

Ceramic wire guides (Eyelets, snail guides, ring and etc.) are normally used in guiding the wire direction in coil winding machines. Material hardness, smoothness and contact radius are important in order to reduce the friction co-efficiency.

TROPHY’s fine ceramic wire guiding products are made of 99% Alumina Al2O3, a material with HRA88 hardness and a density of 3.85. Surfaces are polished to ultra-fine finish of Ra0.2.

We can also polish the ceramic guides according to the users’ requirement, such as a surface finish with semi-polished (Ra 0.8), fine-polished (Ra 0.4) and ultra-fine polished (Ra0.2).
