Tribulus terrestris, also known as puncture vine, is a herb that has been used in the traditional medicine of China and India for centuries.

The active compounds in tribulus are called steroidal saponins. Two types, called furostanol glycosides and spirostanol glycosides, appear to be involved with the effects of tribulus. These saponins are found primarily in the leaf.

 Function

1. Lowering blood pressure and blood-fat, deducing cholesterol and anti-atherosclerosis;

3. Boosting male virility;

4. Strengthening myocardial contractive power, slowing heart rate and dilating coronary arteries.

Application 

1. Applied in pharmaceutical field, it is usually made into tablets, capsule and granule to warm the kidney, strengthen the spleen and enhance human immunity.

2. Applied in food field, it is mainly used in kinds of beverage, liquor and foods to enhance human immunity and anti-aging.
