DESCRIPTION
DC-A Series addition silicone is a kind of two part silicone rubber in addition cure or platinum cure type withmixing ratio of 1:1 or 10:1.It can cure at room temperature as well as under heat. It’s a kind of food grade silicone which has got the United States FDA certification. And mainly used for mold making.
Technical Parameters of DC-A Series Addition Cure Molding Silicone(0-60 Shore A)
DC-A Series with different hardness from 0-60 shore A, small size product with detailed pattern we suggest your use low hardness such as 10-20A,for middle or large size product with pattern you can choose 25-30A, and for big size with little detail you can use 35-50 shore A hardness.
When the life casting silicone rubber is applied to different parts of human, it requires different hardness.
To make the thin skin, the hardness is 20 to 25 shore A.
To make the breast, the hardness will be 5 shore A.
To make a complete finger, the hardness will be 8 to 10 shore A. If just to make a layer of skin, the hardness should be 20 shore A.
To make the female sex toys, the silicone rubber must be very soft. For example, the silicone bra needs silicone with 3 to 5 shore A, 0 shore A is required for especial.
To make the silicone mask, the hardness is 40 shore A.
To make the human model, which is filler inside and silicone outside, the hardness of silicone on the surface is 3 to 5 shore A.
To make the artificial limbs, the hardness will be 10 to 15 shore A.
*NOTE: The special hardness should be confirmed with the customer and then recommend the suitable hardness.

Twelve(12) months when stored under dry and cool place by original package under 25℃

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Normally, different silicone should be choosed according to different product's features,for example :
- For products size (within 20cm),
with intricate disigns, soft silicone is suitable, such as 10-20 shore A.
- For products size (20cm-80cm),
with intricate designs, 20-25 shore A is suitable.
with simple designs, 25-30 shore A is suitable.
- For products size (80cm-150cm),
with intricate designs, 25 shore A is suitable.
with simple designs, 30-35 shore A is suitable.
- For products size (more than 150cm),
with intricate designs, 25-28 shore a A is suitable.
with simple designs, 35-40 shore A is suitable.
STEP 1: PREPARE THE ORIGINAL MOLDS
Make your original molds perfect fix it on a board. And fix the original mold on a board , then used four piece of board to enclose the original molds.
STEP2: TAKE 100G PARTS A AND ADD 2G PARTS B, MIX THEM EVENLY. (*NOTES)
Mold making silicon rubber is a kind of flowing liquid ,it contains two parts. Part A is a kind of flowing white liquid and part B is the curing agent or catalyst .Pls follow the step strictly:
Weigh the two part exactly by electronic weight. If not, for example add too much catalyst , the operation time will be too fast to operate ,which will cause inconvenience to operate .
Mix part A and part B evenly. Otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified and this will give birth to difficulties in your final operation. What’s more, the finished molds will meet a short life. All of these will cause a waste of silicon rubber.
STEP 3: VACUUM PUMPING
Without exception, this step takes less than 10 minutes.Otherwise,it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further steps will be available.
STEP 4: POURING CASTING OR BRUSH OPERATION? (NOTES)
For simple pattern products we suggest use pouring operation way, which will be very easy to operate and demould. Pourable silicone require low viscosity which will be easy to flow smoothly and easy to de-air .
For delicate pattern products we suggest use brushing operation way, which can copy the pattern exactly . Brushable silicone require high viscosity which won’t be easy to flow away and easy to brush .
We sugges to set the silicone mold for another 12 hours after demould before you put it into a large production .
*WARM TIPS
As addition cure silicone is a kind of platinum cure system, which will be easy to cause uncured problem , so pls kindly follow the tips as below :
Do not mix with liquid condensation silicone rubber or even the tool which used for condensation silicone rubber.
Do not mix with organic matter which contains N, S, P organics and ionic compound like Sn, As,Hg, Ph. (Do not smoke when you use this addition silicone rubber)
Do not add any pigment or powder into the addition cure silicone rubber without any testing to prevent uncured problem.
