1Cr25Ni20Si2 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1000°C. Due to its special composition this alloy is suitable for case-hardening furnaces. Stainless, high power traction and braking resistances.

*Feature

It has high temperature strength and oxidation resistance, and is sensitive to sulfur atmosphere. Not suitable for permanent temperatures between 600, because of a tendency to become brittle due to the sigma-phase.

 

*Application

1Cr25Ni20Si2 is used as electric components in domestic appliances and other electric heating equipment. It has good ductility after long time usage, good mechanical property at high temperature and good weldability.

1. High temperature furnace tubes.

2. Heating furnace rollers.

3. Combustion chamber components.
