Introduction to Tapered Roller Bearings

The outer ring and the inner component of the tapered roller bearing can be universally interchanged worldwide. Compared with angular contact ball bearings, the bearing capacity is large and the limit speed is low. Tapered roller bearings are capable of withstanding axial loads in one direction and can limit axial displacement in one direction of the shaft or housing.
Generally, the outer ring raceway of a single row tapered roller bearing has a cone angle of 10° to 19° and can simultaneously bear the combined action of axial load and radial load. The larger the cone angle, the greater the ability to withstand axial loads. Large cone angle bearing, rear code plus B, cone angle between 25 ° ~ 29 °, it can withstand large axial loads. In addition, single row tapered roller bearings can adjust the clearance during installation.
The outer ring (or inner ring) of the double row tapered roller bearing is a unitary body. The two inner rings (or outer rings) have similar small end faces and spacers in the middle. The play is adjusted by the thickness of the spacers. The performance of the four-row tapered roller bearing is basically the same as that of the double-row tapered roller bearing, but the radial load is larger than that of the double-row tapered roller bearing, and the limit rotation speed is slightly lower, which is mainly used for heavy machinery.
