1.5m*3.0m marine mooring yokohama type fender for sale

Floating pneumatic fenders can be delivered in various sizes and types. Chain and tyre net(CTN) type is usually recommend to protect the fender body, but sling type or body only is also available.

Florescence brand Pneumatic Rubber Fender are exported to many countries like Vietnam, America, Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, France and more. High product quality and reasonable costing drives their adoption in the global market and are increasingly preferred as the most popular replacement to Yokohama fenders.

Structure of floating pneumatic fender

Floating pneumatic fender consists of an outer rubber, reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer, and inner rubber, vulcanized together firmly.

1. The outer rubbers are used to protect the cord layers and inner rubber from abrasion and other external forces. This rubber compound have sufficient tensile and tear resistance strength to withstand anticipated weather conditions and severe usage.

2. The reinforcement synthetic-tyre-cord layer strong enough to maintain the internal air pressure of the fender.

3. The inner rubber layer seals the pressurized air inside the fender.

4. Fenders of diameter 2500mm and larger equipped with safety valve for releasing excess internal pressure when the fenders are over-compressed accidentally.

Operation of floating pneumatic fender

Logistic supply operation and / or marine salvage of naval fleet; For large tankers, normally 4-6 sets of pneumatic rubber fenders are hanged at the water line of the shipside. A hanging example of fenders is shown in the figure right. When 4 fenders are used,2 sets are placed at the front and 2 sets at the rear, they are all large scale fenders. In case 6 fenders are hanged on the ship side,1 small fender will be placed at ship bow and another small fender at ship stern.

When fenders are not used, they should be craned to the deck and placed on the anti-rolling seats.

In recent years, there is a new upsurge of wharf and port building.Because of the super large ships, the berthing collision energy is multiplied.Due to the low energy absorption and large reaction force of previous rubber fenders at the wharf, The ship side and docks usually may be damaged. The low compression reaction force property of pneumatic rubber fender conforms to the dock construction light-weighting trend and protects the ship side from damage as well. Therefore,Florescence Pneumatic rubber fenders are widely used in large-scale docks, wharves and offshore platforms.

Floating pneumatic fender use matters needing attention

1 Pneumatic pressure control in±5% of the rated pressure
2 Test pressure normally, add pressure in a timely manner
3 Avoid contact with sharp objects
4 When Long time not need, should wash to dry, filled with right amount of compressed air, placed in a cool dry ventilated place.
5 Storage place away from heat, acid and alkali, oil and grease
6 When store, shall not be folded and piled up

7 Most cost competitive system

8 Simple and low cosy installation

9 Various optional fitting

10 Advange against shearing force

Classification of pneumatic fender:
Fender types:
1.Net-type fender: fenders which are covered by a tire chain net, each end shall be linked together with one to two ring(s).

2.Sling-type fender: fenders which are designed to be used without a protection net.

Test of ship dock pneumatic fender for boat berthing
1. Material test for rubber

The material test of the outer rubber and the inner rubber shall be conducted in accordance with the physical properties of inner and outer rubber required by ISO 17357:2002
2.Dimensional inspection
The dimension of all the fenders shall be inspected at the initial internal pressure and the results shall be within the following tolerances:
- length: +10%, -5%;
-diameter: +10%,-5%
3.Air-leakage test
The air-leakage test shall be conducted on all the fenders at initial pressure for more than 30 min, and the test results shall confirm that there is no air leakage.
4.Hydrostatic-pressure test
The hydrostatic-pressure test shall be performed for 10 min at the hydrostatic-pressure shown in "test pressure at 0% deflection". Maximum temporary elongation: 10%.

Pneumatic fender project case

1.Pneumatic Fenders Use For STS Operation In Russia

Qingdao Florescence 15pcs Dia3.3m L6.5m pneumatic fenders used for oil tanker in Russia since 2017. Pneumatic fenders worked well and played a great role during STS operation.

2.Pneumatic Fenders Use For Dock In Lithuania

Qingdao Florescence recommends Dia2.5m L3.5m pneumatic fenders based on customer's ship and dock information. Customer used pneumatic fenders for ship to dock service in 2018 and used for ship to ship operation in 2019.

3.Dia1.5m L3.0m pneumatic fenders use in Mexico

Dia1.5m L3.0m pneumatic fenders were used for ship to ship service in Mexico. And will use for dock during ship berthing. Fenders are commonly fitted with a chain-tyre net for added protection. They were developed in order to extend the range of usage of pneumatic fenders and enable them to be used for docks.
